Post FA cup. vs Stourbridge. 7/9/19.

Football "should" be a relatively simple game so if we play like I have been told we did at Tamworth , the next round of the cup is a real possibility , if we play as we did against Banbury it will not. Somewhere in between should result in a replay ?? Still waiting for the local papers to arrive, [guess the distributors have homework this week] and nothing to read on the official site yet . So player availability etc remains under wraps for the time being. Any thoughts ?? ??

Apparently Nathan hayward was ill last Saturday so be a big boost if he's back
They should come out all guns blazing after brens comments and it being a local derby so I'm hopeful we'll get a response and have a good go
If we play like we did at Tamworth we'll win

Not quite sure how to sum up today's performance, probably good, bad and ugly. Good effort all round from everybody, bad refereeing from an incompetent idiot who was out of his depth and ugly circus sideshow from our keeper who gave me papatations every time he got near the ball. Having said that, he pulled off some terrific saves. Think we have enough quality to progress at this level. I have no doubt Bren will guide us to further success.

Could well have just about almost got a replay . . . . . Deserved ?? Will leave that on hold. First half was a marked improvement on the Banbury game . Plenty of effort but still down a bit on quality ?? Second half. Early goal for the visitors knocked us back a peg or two. Still some to learn at this level both tactics and player wise. Early days though . Next game please . . . .

    You're joking aren't you?
Breedons absolute different gravy in goal mate
He should be playing in midfield with his ability on the ball!
    Small margins at this level
Put our chances in first half different game
Stourbridge a Little too streetwise in the end but no shame imo losing
Unlucky drawing them at this stage of the fa cup

keeper absolute quality - different class and MOMT by a country mile...…………

ref and lino main stand side - a pair of clowns

Stourbridge - ou can tell the difference of a side who have played at this level for 10 plus years and one that hasn't

still have faith - stick to our game and we will be fine

A fair report of the game on The Express and Star website. And as tradition deems the thing to do , we all wait to see who we COULD have been drawn against in the next round.

Think you’re almost in a minority of one with that assessment of Breeden there Neil
