    Question Today's Game

With all the rain over the last few days, how is the pitch looking?

I believe there's a pitch inspection before 10.30 - St Ives set to depart at 10.45 otherwise

If its anything like "our back lawn" . . . . . . then rather boggy. No news on club site to say anything about a pitch inspection as yet.

Twitter says pitch has passed inspection so match should be on.

Great battling win considering it was 10 v 12 for most of the game
    Good crowd considering the weather
Hopefully push on from here with some winnable games on paper although as we know no gimmes in this league

Ref's hand "slipped" as he was writing up the match report

By the way, someone whose name was unfairly not even in the discussion for MOTM (i think?): Josh Quaynor who had to switch from centre mid to centre back for 70 mins and scarcely put a foot wrong. My two friends who were visiting for the first time ever said he was one of three or four standout players on the night (Hickman, Shaq and Shorrock the others) and were surprised when I pointed out he was having to deputise in an unfamiliar position. Good to know in this unpredictable league that Josh is up to scratch in at least two, probably three or four positions - didn't he used to be on the left flank?
