Daire Doyle first came to Kidderminster on trial in the early part of the 2000-01 season and made an immediate impression on Jan Molby. He tried to sign him from Coventry City but Gordon Strachan would not agree to it.
Jan finally got his man in January 2001. Daire (pronounced Darra) sadly never really made the first team and was eventually released in February 2003 and joined Nuneaton Borough a few days later.
After spending times with more local sides he returned to Dublin to play in the League of Ireland for Bray Wanderers and Drogheda Utd amongst others.
Daire is now the player/manager for Cabinteely. A team in Dublin.
