A half back, who played for the Rovers fro m 1945-1952, a very successful era for the club. During this period they won the Birmingham Combination and the Worcester Senior Cup twice as well as reaching the First Round of the F.A. Cup.
He was described by Joe Wainwright as one of Bromsgrove Rovers most accomplished players ever.
He left the Rovers in 1952, joining Evesham. He had to retire prematurely in 1963 with a degenerative nerve condition. He passed away in 1966, aged just 47.
