A forward who having impressed for Myrtle Villa in a friendly against Rovers was immediately signed-up. He made his debut the following week against Stirchley United in the Birmingham Combination in September 1909.
His stay at the Rovers was short lived, he moved to Brierley Hill Alliance in October.
It looked like he would return to the Rovers in February 1910, but he was eventually transferred to Halesowen Town.
After returning once again to Brierley Hill, he did eventually return to the Rovers in April 1911.
