An outside left who made his debut against Cradley Heath St Lukes, in the Birmingham Combination on 24 September 1910.
In 1910, he was a bricklayer living at Clifton-on-Teme, and in order to catch a train to Bromsgrove from Worcester, would cycle from his home to the Cathedral City.
He was playing for Worcester City (4 times) in the 1912/13 season, and he briefly returned to the Rovers in Nov/Dec 1912. Kidderminster Harriers was he next destination.
