An outside left, who joined the Rovers in October 1911, from Worcester St Clement. He came with the reputation of being "very fast with a good shot".

He made his debut on 7 October 1911 against Dudley Phoenix in the Birmingham Combination, but could not establish himself in the side.

He played in trial games for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 1913/14 season

After the First World War he returned to the Rovers, via Worcester City & Kidderminster Harriers, in the 1920/21 season.

He was ever present in the 1921/22 campaign, where he also played in the Worcestershire Senior Cup final against Stourbridge, where Rovers lost 1-0.

He dislocated his elbow, and required hospital treatment, in a match against Rugby Town in April 1923, which put him out for the remainder of the season.

He recovered in time for the 1922/23 campaign where he was again a regular on the left wing.
