THE ALL-TIME LEADING GOALSCORER FOR THE ROVERS
The former Studley Sporting striker made his debut for Rovers, coming off the bench, against Banbury United in March 1984.
He was the scourge of Southern League defences for the next decade and was a key member of the sides that won promotion to the Southern League Premier Division in 1985/86 and also the Conference in 1991/92. He was leading scorer 6 seasons out of 7 between 1985-86 and 1991-92.
He played in the side that won the Southern League Cup in 1985-86, two Worcestershire Senior Cup winning sides (1986-87 and 1991-92), and he was on the losing side in three other finals. He also played in a Birmingham Senior Cup Final and made 3 appearances in the F.A. Cup first round proper against Welling United, Basingstoke and Bournemouth and came on as sub in the biggest game in the history of the Rovers, the third round tie against Barnsley.
On 11 April 1992 he surpassed the long-standing all time Rovers goalscoring record held by Bill Oldnall when he netted his 227th goals against Poole Town. His final tally was 238 goals.
He moved to Gresley Rovers in February 1994.
