An outside right who made his debut against Brierly Hill Alliance in the Preliminary Round of the F.A. Cup on 24 September 1921. He joined from Ebbw Vale who played in the Welsh League and the Southern League. He had also played for Worcester City in the 1919/20 season.
He was a regular in the side in that campaign where he also played in the Worcestershire Senior Cup final against Stourbridge, where Rovers lost 1-0.
He returned to Worcester City in December 1922. He was nicknamed "Chipper"
A serious knee injury ended his career in March 1928.
