A half back who joined Rovers from Coventry City in March 1927. He had previously played victory football for Aston Villa before signing for Nuneaton Town in 1919. Two years later he joined Derby County where he made 2 appearances before joining Bristol Rovers in 1922. He had also played for Yeovil and Wellington Town.
