A no-nonsense centre-back for the Rovers throughout the 1980s. He was one of their finest captains and he could be relied on to score his fair share of goals.
He was a key member of the side that won the Southern League Cup and gained promotion from the Midland Division in 1985-86. He also won the Worcestershire Senior Cup in 1986-87 and played against Newport County, Welling United and Basingstoke in the first round of the F.A. Cup.
