Kevin was certainly one of the Rovers greatest ever defenders and one of their finest captains.

He was 27 when he was Bobby Hopes first signing in his second spell as Rovers manager. He had previously played for Alvechurch and Hednesford Town. He made his debut against Crawley Town in the Southern League Premier Division on 19 August 1989 and was one of the first names on the team sheet for the next 7 seasons.

During his time at the club he was part of the side who got promoted to the Conference in 1991-92 and the side who finished runners-up in their debut season in the non-league elite. He played in 4 F.A. Cup first round ties (Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Northampton, and Cinderford) and also in the games against Yeovil and Barnsley in Rovers famous run to the third round in 1993-94. He also captured four Worcester Senior Cups and 2 Conference League Cups.

He was named in the Conference team of the season for the 1993-94 season.

He also went on an F.A. England semi-professional tour in the summer of 1994, and played against Finland under 21s and Norway under 21s, when he captained the side.

Following the dismissal of Tony Grealish in February 1995 he was named caretaker manager alongside John Dyer, and captured both the Worcester Senior Cup and the Conference League Cup.
