Brendan Wassall first arrived at Aggborough in October 1962 , from Atherstone United.
He made his debut for the Harriers on October 17th 1962 against Banbury Spencer and went on to make 686 appearance, scoring 269 goals, at an average of 26 a season. He left in 1974 for Bromsgrove Rovers ending his career in 1975.
His son, Darren, played for Birmingham City and Derby County.
