Made his debut against Forest Green Rovers in the Southern League Midlands Division in March 1983.
He was a regular on the right side of midfield for the next seven years, during which he was part of the side which won promotion from the Southern League Midlands Division in 1985/86 and played in the F.A. Cup first round tie against Newport County. In addition he won a winners medal in the Worcestershire Senior Cup and played in a Birmingham Senior Cup Final tie at The Hawthorns against VS Rugby.
He was eventually released by Bobby Hope in March 1990, after which he joined Moor Green.
