Josh McKenzie regained the lead for the away team with a great move and shot on 26 minutes then five minutes later McKenzie netted again heading in a Danny Ludlow cross. Tipton rallied in the second half and got one back on 69 minutes but Sporting held on to win 3-2 in a useful pre-season friendly.
