The Rouslers will wonder how they failed to take maximum points in Tuesday evenings game against Bolehall Swifts at the Victoria Ground.
Sporting started well down the slope and had a great appeal for a penalty turned down when Chris Conway was pulled down by keeper Paul Hathaway in the 15th minute.
Aaron Daniels and Conway continued to create a multitude of chances but they couldn't find a way past Hathaway.
Bolehall took the lead against the run of play in the 32nd minute when Adam Goodby was first to keeper Jake Bedford's punch to volley the ball into the unguarded net.
Two quick fire goals at the start of the second half gave the home team the lead; on 55 minutes Daniels beat the offside trap before sliding the ball past Hathaway and then immediately from the restart Conway chipped the ball over the Bolehall keeper from close range.
Daniels has two great chances to extend the lead, but his low shots went agonizingly wide of the post on both occasions and then Conway had a goal disallowed for offside on 65 minutes after a left wing free kick from Sam Wills after Daniels had been brought down by David Boal.
This decision appeared to then give the visitors some hope and they equalised on 68 minutes through Dave Yonwin after Bromsgrove failed to close down in midfield, allowing the Bolehall striker too much time and space.
Bromsgrove almost snatched victory in injury but substitute Jozsef Jakab's header slid agonisingly past the post.
