Match Report
After two confidence-sapping defeats, Sporting bounced back in style with a good win against local rivals and importantly a boost to team morale.

There was little action in either goal area for the first half-hour with much of the play in the middle of the park though Richard Gregory cleared the woodwork on two occasions. However on the 38th minute Sporting gained a free-kick on the edge of the box when Martin Slevin pulled back Nathan Hayward. Tom Taylor dropped a neat ball to Gregory and on this occasion he was on target with an angled drive into the bottom right-hand corner.

Number two for the away side came just three minutes later when a poor clearance from Dominic Richard between the sticks for Stourport found Rouslers' striker Cameron Peters who then rounded Richards and defender Joe Hanson before slotting home.
Gregory got his second and Sporting's third on the 61st minute when he fired in Will Shorrock's free-kick under the diving Richards.

Swifts had their best effort of the match seven minutes later with a quick break but Mark Danks curved shot was easily gathered by Dan Crane.

Goal four for Sporting came after a quick break up field from Peters who made a short pass to Nathan Hayward and rather than an attempted shot he unselfishly passed again to Shorrock whose drove past Richards.

Sporting completed their scoring with a couple of added minutes on the clock when a poor back pass to Richards was intercepted by Shorrock who rounded the 'keeper and found the net with a low shot.

So Sporting returned to winning ways against a plucky Stourport side but once The Rouslers had their noses in front, confidence increased and in the end it was a deserved win for the Bromsgrove side who now face Worcester City in the semi-final.
