Coalville Let Slip A 2 Goal Lead Against Bromsgrove
By CTFC Admin

Former player Kyle Perry came back to haunt Coalville with two late goals to grab a dramatic point for Bromsgrove Sporting

The Ravens opened the scoring early on when Alex Dean robbed the ball off Sporting defender Jack Wilson and then squared the ball across the goal for Kairo Mitchell to tap in from close range.

Bromsgrove’s best chance of the first half came through a free kick from Joshua Quaynor. He hit a curling effort from 25 yards which Saul Deeney palmed away for a corner.

Mitchell had another good opportunity when he was through on goal but over ran the ball to allow visiting keeper Tony Breeden to collect the ball.

Tim Berridge was next to try his luck after a great solo run but his effort was wide and over.

Mitchell then had a great opportunity to double the lead but he blasted over from 5 yards out.

Adam McGurk then had his penalty saved by Breeden before he finally got on the scoresheet with a superb curling effort from just inside the box.

Having entered the fray as a late substitute, Perry’s first came from a corner when he headed in at the far post and his second came as he turned in a shot that looked to be going wide.
